I had a mammogram in beginning of Feb because I felt I had lumpy breasts and was recalled for a follow up mammogram and ultrasound because a thickening was found. I was seen by consultant who looked at follow up mammogram and undertook the ultrasound and he said all was well with the mammogram and that there was no thickining present from the ultrasound.
However I have now received a letter from the breast clinic to come in for a follow up appointment at the end of May.
I am so worried, I thought that this was all sorted, and keep thinking that if they thought I had BC, they wouldnt wait 3 months to tell me.I know i am being overly anxious as the consultant had said all was fine, but why call me back three months later. Iam 36.
try not to worry, im afraid i cant help as im not sure about these things being a CUP cancer, but im sure someone will answer you soon and this will bump your question back up to the top. You could always try ringing the help line number on top of forum.
