Follow up apt after surgery query

Going through breast cancer treatment Surgery

I had right MX on the 29th Dec. I have been given appt to see the surgeon again at the breast clinic on the 11 Jan.

I’m fairly sure i was told to leave the dressing (narrow white waterproof plaster type dressing along the scar line) until this appointment. Does this sound right?

Also what happens at this appt?

it may well come away Before then…Mine fell off at 10 days…if not, nurses will likely remove at your appointment…the surgeon will check it over…you will be given your final histology results and the recommended plan following the MDT meeting.
