Hi everyone
You may have noticed some changes in the Forum recently. We have been working to make the Forum easier to navigate, and to make sure we have helpful categories and boards.
Here’s a summary of updates so far:
- We are removing most of the text descriptions under each category and board. These were increasing scrolling time without adding further value, as the category and board names are self-descriptive
- We added an Unanswered posts section instead of the previous section that was not used much. You can find this under the category boards on the main page
- We added a new Introduce yourself board
- We renamed this board from ‘Talk to a moderator’ to ‘Noticeboard’. We will keep you updated on further work here
- We removed the ‘Meet ups’ board from the ‘Living with secondary breast cancer’ category
- We merged ‘Hope and Inspiration’ and ‘Chat and games’ into one board called ‘Chat and inspiration’
- We renamed ‘Moving forward after breast cancer’ category to ‘Daily life after a breast cancer diagnosis’
- We adding a more inclusive category called ‘Connect with people like me’ with boards: ‘Younger women’, ‘Pregnancy and young children’, and ‘Coping alone’. We are working to understand whether having a board specifically for men living with breast cancer would be useful too
- We moved the ‘Younger women and families’ board from the ‘Going through breast cancer treatment’, and move posts to the newly created boards in ‘Connect with people like me’
- Forum users who are signed up to receive email correspondence from us will receive an email update on the Forum on Thursday 17 March
