I found a lump several weeks ago during a self exam. I went in for a 3d mammogram that they then followed up with an ultrasound on that area. The radiologist came in and said they suspect it is a fibroadenoma, but would like me to follow up with a biopsy. My biopsy is scheduled for tomorrow and I am absolutely terrified! At first I felt comforted when first told what they thought it might be, but now I have myself very worked up again. Just wanted to talk with someone in a similar situation.

Hi Amy,
Presumably you’ve had the biopsy now & are waiting for the results. Although the anxiety is such a pain in going through this, it’s good they’re being thorough in getting it sorted out & chances are, all will be well.
It you want to, do let us know how you get on.
