hi i have stage 2 with node involvement ,to have 6 doses of chemo , then surgery ,then radiation therapy ,then reconstruction , so scared . Patricia
Hi Patricia,
Me too, never been so scared. grade 2, lymph node suspicious. Surgery, Chemo, Radiotherapy then hormone therapy. Waiting for results of her2 coz inconclusive. Won’t know stage until after surgery.
Trying to keep calm but find it quite overwhelming at times. Just want to get started on treatment now.
All the best with your treatment.

Hi Patricia and Bas,
You are treading a well worn path, where many have gone before and will pass through after you have long finished your journey.
The best advice I can give you is to join one of the chemotherapy monthly threads in the ‘Going through treatment’ section on here. I was - still am, a February Valentine. You will make some good ‘virtual’ friends, find support and advice to help you through the chemo. It really isn’t as bad as you expect it to be. Very few have ALL the side effects of chemo, and the ones you do have, tell your oncologist and drugs will be provided for the next time. Second best advice is to get a digital thermometer that is specifically for your use alone. You will need to keep an eye on your temperature if you feel ill at all. There is a thread on the Chemotherapy post:
which is full of tips for those having chemo. If I can be of any other help, just give me a shout, or PM me.
Hugs and love.
