Free Moving Forward courses in Edinburgh and Livingston

Do you live in Edinburgh or the surrounding area?  Are you looking for information on how to adjust and adapt to life after treatment? Are you interested in hearing from specialists about ways manage side effects and improve your overall wellbeing? Would you like to meet other people who have had a diagnosis to chat and share experiences?

If the answer is yes, then our free course “Moving forward: living with and beyond breast cancer” is for you!  We have two courses starting in the New Year:

Every Wednesday for four weeks from 1st February 2017 at the Western General Hospital  in  Edinburgh from 10am-1pm.

Every Thursday for four weeks from 23rd February 2017 at Howden Park Centre (next to St. John’s) in Livingston from 2pm-5pm

The Moving Forward course is run in partnership with the NHS and provides information on a range of topics to help you cope with changes, manage uncertainties and establish a “new normal” after treatment.

The course is very popular so if you’re interested in attending please register in advance to secure a place. To find out more about the course or to book a place, give us a call on 0345 077 1893 or send an email to movingforward@breastcancercare.org.uk

Best Wishes,

Julie

We have these courses available to us too but the problem is that some of us work fulltime so would not be able to attend, which is a shame as they sound helpful.
