I have also used the headcovers site mentioned in Dawn’s post above - they have a great selection of things and even though theyr’e in the USA their stuff arrives very quickly. Especially useful are their terry cotton sleep caps which are very soft and comforting on your head. when your hair first falls out your head feels cold and can feel sore so these are very useful. I wore one around the house all the time while I had no hair.
I have also been wearing lovely Indian scarves from theindiashop.co.uk - they send each one with a small piece of matching silk to tie round it - . First of all I put on a little cotton skull cap which I got from headlinehats.co.uk. This gives your head more shape and it looks less flat. then I tie the Indian scarf on and tie the small piece of silk round it. I’ve had loads of compliments on these scarves and one of the breast care nurses even bought some for herself even though she has a full head of hair.

I got some great bandanas from Guava Bandanas, they’re in South Africa but deliver really fast, they sent mine on a Saturday and I got them on Tuesday (Monday was a bank hol) and they’re also very cheap. Here’s the website

HI Lynne,
I used the bandanasrus.co.uk started by Paula (she has left you a thread). I ordered a beautiful white indian cotton which is hand sewn as I have a wedding to go to. It was delivered promptly and we paid via paypal which was easy.
Definately recommended.
Also I have used girlyshop.co.uk which have a huge selection of funky headgear.

the largest selection of buffs is at buffwear.co.uk check out the polar buffs for this time of year, they are excellent. I have hair again now but still love my polar buff and now everyone looks at me with envy cause I’m cozy as opposed to pity because… well you know.
