Has anyone got a funny experience/story following their recovery from bc?
I had bc in 2004 so had mastectomy including loss of nipple and LD reconstruction. After recovery I was offered a latex nipple modelled from my remaining boob. Which was like a stick on nipple. At the time my daughter was 14yrs and often wanted her friends to sleep over.
I used to wear my nipple all the time, so happily walked around the house braless in my comfy clothes. During one of her sleep overs, my nipple must have escaped/fallen off and was found by one of her friends on the floor!! Highly embarrassing but also gave us all a really good laugh! Sometimes its goid to see the funny side of things! Xx
