GABBies - Glasgow/Ayrshire/Lanarkshire and anyone else West-ish Central Belt-ish!

Hello Helen - I will PM you the details of how to join us (I think you have ‘liked’ our public FB page).  We have quite a few Mums with young children as well as us old fogies!!  Hope to see you over there soon.

CatMc if you are still interested please message me.

Helen, it looks as if you don’t have private messaging enabled here.  if you either PM me or leave a message on our public facebook page, I can sort out adding you to the group. Xx

Hello again Helen and CatMc - still trying to get you added but do need some help from you too!!

Helen, I managed to get a message to you on Facebook which will go into your “other” folder - if you manage to find that it will tell you what to do so that I can add you to the group.

CatMc if you go to Facebook and type in GABBies Glasgow and Ayrshire breast buddies, it will show you our public page and you can leave a message for us there too.

Hope you are each doing OK.  Take care xx

Hi there,

am recently diagnosed (Wednesday) and would love to meet up. I’m not on Facebook but if that’s the only way to communicate then I would defo consider creating an account again.

Can I give my mobile number on here or is there a number I can contact?

Appreciate any help making connections

Thank you

Hello,

Sorry you have found yourself plunged into this club no-one wants to join.  We do 99% of our communication via facebook, so if you were prepared to set up an account that would be easiest.  I will try to PM you the details of how to join us - but it may not work as not all new users seem to have private messaging enabled?

Take care and hope to hear from you soon x

Sorry, Botherwiboobs - you don’t seem to have personal messaging enabled… if you can send me a message, I will reply with the info you need. x

Hi I’m trying to join plz

I have sent you a PM with details, hope that helps x

Is this for newly diagnosed people or for anyone at any stage? I am in Kirkintilloch, 49 & awaiting referral back to oncology after bone scans indicate bone lesion 10 yrs post diagnosis? Might be a few weeks till I’m fully up for meeting up but this wouldvbe a step.

Hello Podry, so sorry to hear you are facing all this a second time :frowning:

The GABBies range from newly diagnosed to many years down the line (mostly up to five but a few who are much longer).

As I’m the most ‘active’ of the Admins in the FB group it probalby falls to me to add you :)  I am just about to visit a  sick relative for a  few days so will try to message you the details (not everyone has messaging enabled) and then get you added early next week whn I’m back, if that’s OK (I’m a ludite no internet on my phoone!)

Take care and hope to speak soon
