I don’t know if it is my place to post this on here but I heard today that Geewhiz has passed away. I did not know that she had become ill but it all seems very sudden and I am in shock and filled with sadness too. Val

I don’t think I knew Geewhiz, but this is such sad news. My condolences to all who knew and loved her.

I never know Geewhiz, but she must have been much loved and I’m sad to hear of her passing. RIP Geewhiz.

I did know Julie and last saw her in the Summer at our Manchester Cupcakes meet up.
Julie lived life to the full spending time between the UK and the Middle East.
From her Facebook page I saw that she had spent quite a bit of time in hospital during November but I was so shocked to see her son post that she passed away last week.

Eek - this is scary. I only knew Geewhiz a little and hadn’t seen her post here much recently. Just checked her Chat Girls ‘biography’ and her liver mets were only found in September. So quick, so unfair. Love and thoughts to all her family and friends.

This is yet another desperately sad loss and the speed is frightening. My deepest sympathy to all Julie’ s family and friends. May you be at peace, dear lady.

I think we are all shocked at the suddenest of Julie’s sad passsing, her post on the Cap site were so positive which added to the shock. Where ever you are Julie I hope you’re dancing with the Angels, we will all miss you.

I’m shocked to read this too, it only seems 5 mins since she received her primary dx - we chatted a bit in the early days as I also lived in the Middle East the same as her.
