Hello,
This monthly meet up service in Glasgow is for anyone diagnosed with secondary breast cancer. As well as an opportunity to meet up with others with a similar diagnosis it’s an opportunity to hear from guest speakers and gain information and support.
From Tuesday 6th September 2016, the Living With Secondary Breast Cancer evening group will now be held at the Glasgow Maggie’s Centre, from 6 – 8pm each month (and until 8.30pm if there is a speaker present). The group will continue to be held on the first Tuesday of the month.
The Maggie’s Centre can be found to the east of Gartnavel General Hospital and just up the hill from the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and its car park. The address is 1053 Great Western Road, Glasgow, G12 0YN.
The room we will be using is called the ‘Middle Room’ and is filled with comfy couches, lamps and a fireplace. Tea, coffee & biscuits will be available from the open kitchen and there are toilets and disabled access.
It’s completely free to attend and there’s no obligation to come along every month. If you’re interested in attending the Glasgow meetings or would like to know more then please contact us on 0345 077 1893 or email secondaryservices@breastcancercare.org.uk.
Best Wishes
Julie
