My 87 year old mom has been diagnosed with breast cancer. We saw the surgeon and oncologist yesterday and they recommended we get chemo cold gloves for her to wear during treatments. I saw a bunch on Amazon, but have no idea what is good and what isn’t. Any advice on the brand to get? TIA

Ask the nurse specialist assigned to your mum for advice on this.
I understand the importance of finding suitable gloves for chemo treatments. When my mom was going through her treatments, we found that gloves explicitly made for chemo patients made a difference. A good option is looking for latex-free ones that offer a good fit, especially ones that won’t tear easily. My mom loved the ones we got from Unity Medical Supplies. They have a range of gloves designed for chemo and other medical needs, and they are comfortable. I recommend checking out their site, www.unitymedicalsupplies.com , to see if it works for your mom.
