Chemotherapy positive stories please 💖 - #54 by hcc5 After 8.5 months that’s the chemo treatment done and just the hysterectomy to get through at the end of the month . I wont lie getting my PICC line out was painful as the wee hook things and clip had got stuck ….BUT being able to wash my whole body with no dry sleave was wonderful this morning ….the dry skin coming off my arm was shocking ….like an anaconda had shed it’s skin arrrr Three thick layers of Zerobase disappeared like snow in July LOL . My hair is coming back as are my eye lashes and eye brows ….both are really dark brown but my hair has come back snow white LOL and spiky with a mind of it’s own ….. wishing you all good health and an easy path xx

I bet its such a relief to be over the mountain!!!
Do you have any tips/words of wisdom for getting through it?
I’ve just had my 1st of 6 cycles 10 days ago, it’s not been a bad start but I’m told the effects can be cumulative so let’s see how the following 5 go ![]()

Congratulations getting through your chemo. I’m just 4 weeks into my 12 week chemo followed by mastectomy with skin and tissue graft from my abdomen. Great to hear people who’ve come through it all!
