Hi all, I met with the consultant this morning to get my mammogram results and thank God they came back clear. He then did a thorough check of both breasts and afterwards said that the lump I have is just thickening.
To say I am happy and relieved is an understatement after a month of waiting. Thank you everyone here for your support and good wishes.
What I really want to stress to newbies who are waiting for results or those of you who have found something is that not all lumps are bad. Mine is a about the size of a thumbprint and I guess it is just a part of me now. Thickening is normal due to my age (41). I was sure I had swollen lymph nodes etc but no I am fine. The doctor said though that anytime I was worried to go the doctor which I will do.
