14 month ago i was diagnosed with secondaries in the liver did,nt think i would be here much longer or think i could get back to normal and im here and things are back to normal today i got scan results and it has now shrunk to 7mm last april it was 3cm.celerbrating this weekend i think just want yo give hope to anyone newly diagnosed.Take Care Everyone Lindsay

Hello linz,
I have just been told that two secondaries have shown up on my latest scan - on each lobe of my liver. After being given the news that I was in remision in January, this news has come as quite a shock. Now I have to have Oral Chemo(Xeloda), and I am very worried about some of the side this drug can have. I have been left virtually disabled, thanks to the effects of the drug Aromasin causing severe arthritis in both my knees. Can I ask what medication you take, and if you are badly affected by it in any way?
I know from experience that all the drugs used to combat this *=#"ing disease are getting better and more effective all the time, but that doesn’t help us if we have to live what is left of our lives in pain or great discomfort.
Please try to cheer me up, by telling me why and how you are doing so well, and don’t you think this site is a marvellous idea for people like us. Regards from aweepal - Claire.
