I want to thank the kind ladies who posted comments for me today whilst I was waiting to go to the clinic for tests on the lump in my breast.I can thankfully report that after a mammogram and scan the consultant was able to tell me it was breast tissue and fat cells that had broken away from surrounding tissue and were floating about on there own!!! I am so relieved although a little baffled as I hadn’t read anything about this on any websites! Has anyone ever heard of this? I want to wish everyone on the forum the very best of luck and I will pop in from time to time!Its a very important lifeline to anyone facing uncertainty just like I was this morning. Great to hear your good news Karenbu. We have all been in that fearful place and it’s wonderful that you had nothing to fear after all. As you see from the forums, there is a wonderful support network for those whose news is not so good.
If anyone you know is ever in a similar position, let them know about this site. I found the forums when I was searching for information about my treatment and I visit every day now to keep up with the women who started treatment at the same time as I did. I’ve been avoiding joining groups of any kind all my life - now I couldn’t be without my cyberfriends.
