Has anyone stopped their aromatase inhibitors and gone on to try grape seed extract which has been researched and found to be a suppressor of estrogen in post menopausal women. I am at the end of my tether with the prescribed and after having a month off feel like I have been reborn with my joint and crippling bone pains all but gone. I can even squat down and get back up without having to go over on all fours. I’m willing to go for quality of life but am interested if anyone has gone down this route.
Hi Annie , I’ve not heard of this before , hopefully someone else will have some knowledge . You could also ask about it in the Ask the Nurses section ?
Have you tried Tamoxifen as an alternative to AIs ? You can take it post menopause ?
yes I went off the letrozole January 1st too many side effects, then I read about heart attacks and T2 diabetes, and not to mention osteoarthritis.
I’m now taking grapeseed extract, 400mg a day, although I read that there is a much higher mg available-on Amazon 16000mg, some women are doing that with the Mediterranean diet, I’m done with the estrogen therapy, it’s very toxic to overall health, hoping this helps!!
good luck,
Trish
