I received the results of my latest PET scan today which I’m delighted to say is still showing completely clear which is my 4th consecutive NED scan.
I’m really thrilled as it’s coming up 12 months since I was last on chemo and I really thought my luck would have run out by now. I am mindful that many people on here are suffering and not so well but I wanted to share my good news as I have had such wonderful support on here. I also have been really celebrating life this year by doing as much as I possibly can and spending lots of quality time with friends and family and doing as many different experiences as I can as I have been lucky enough to be really well this year. I write this to give hope to those with secondaries - a year ago I was having my 9th consecutive month of chemo,being divorced by my previously supportive husband due to my secondary diagnosis in Feb 08 and generally feeling that life was simply not worth living.Things have completely changed for me but I am really so grateful to be alive and am making the most of being well at present with the knowledge that this can and will change at any time.
