Hi Hon.
Hair loss is horrible. People just don’t get it! When i had chemo for my primary diagnosis, i used Lucinda Ellery hair integration system. It was an absolute godsend. Its expensive, but worth checking out if you can stretch to it. I hope you find a solution that fits your needs.xx
Sorry to hear this, if you look on Temu they have lovely crochet beanie type hats x
I have a few beanies with detachable headbands from the website Annabandana which is on the Breastcancernow website
Thanks all.
It is truly awful. Second time around too!
My confidence is shot to pieces and I am fed up of looking so dreadful.
It feels a constant slof of looking for “suitable” headwear right now.
The hair regeneration systems do look good, but very expensive. I think I will wait until I see what hair growth I get, once this chemo is over. If it doesn’t come back as I would like, then I will definitely be looking at it more closely.
Thanks again.
I am sorry you are having to deal with this, it is tough. I have lost my hair 10 times through chemo and consequently have tried everything to cover my bald head; wigs, long scarves, square scarves, beanies, hats and bandanas. I have ended up using the pre-tied scarves from Anna Bandana and you can also get them from Amazon. They come in several different materials and numerous colours and patterns and are not expensive. I hope this helps.
