Thanks Vodka and BessieBoo -
Thanksgiving was wonderful. We had an enormous amount of food, everyone ate and loved it and then we went back for dessert. Once it was all cleared away, we had a mad game of Monopoly which turned into a tie between Tim and girlfriend, who won! The day didn’t end till 11 pm but it was GREAT. Best Thanksgiving I’ve had in years and years.
Its early here…everyone is asleep except me and OH. We are off to the movies this afternoon and I was just logging on to see what else was happening tht we could take my GD to see. She has done the museums so I am looking for something more Christmasy.
Ahh Christmas. Well, it has a totally different tenor here. NOt so much the gluttonous feast, more of a religious flavored holiday in our house. But yes, we do make a fuss with cooking something special. In my childhood, we used to be Roman Catholic (not now) so we always had a celebration after Midnight Mass and opened one present. Sometimes we do that now if we go to a Midnight Candlelight Service Then there are presents in the morning for the kids. This year, it will be very quiet since all “kids” came out over Thanksgiving. They will probably spend it with their Dad. So, it will be way less of a fuss.
Hey, I can hear the toasts over here. Between us, me and the gf polished off a lovely bottle of Chardonnay last night. Life is good. I haven’t been on here for a bit. Do we need new games? I love starting them for you all!!!
hugs

So glad you had such a happy Thanksgiving. More games please to cheer us up in these wet and miserable winter months.
OK, I added Tom Swifties just for you Olivia…I think you have found it.
will add others as time permits…they will get more challenging though since we have hit the run of most games already!
