Hi everyone, I thought I would post this as I found these forums very helpful when I found my lump 2 weeks ago. I am a trainee gp and I found my lump when I was 6 weeks pregnant. It seemed rock hard and pea sized and although not fixed did not just slip away from my finger when I pressed it. In my experience it did not feel like a fibroadenoma or a fluctuant cyst! Therefore I was very worried. I went to the one stop breast clinic yesterday and had the triple assessment with an ultrasound scan and fine needle aspiration. To my relief it was a fibroadenoma after all! So if you have a similar lump try not to worry too much as all lumps are different and its very hard to tell by just palpation if its cancer. I hope people find this helpful when awaiting their clinic apointment ![]()
Just bumping this in case those for whom it may be useful haven’t noticed it in the New Threads.
