I had a titanium marker fitted during my biopsy last week and I am still feeling sore? Is that normal?? Anyone else have one fitted if so how do you feel?
Good morning queen bee. I had two fitted. One in my breast and one under my arm. That was just over two weeks ago and the soreness has just about gone now. The pain from under my arm seemed to travel around to my back as well which worried me a bit. X
I was also very swollen and in my diagnosis haze managed to convince myself the cancer had rapidly grown. The swelling and bruising are also going now. X
Thank you feelthefear. Surprising I’m not bruised this time that much, was more bruised last biopsy. Just feel very sore and achy… I am.swollen to… I too keep convincing myself that something more is happening, the biopsy woman put 2 markers in as she wasn’t sure if the first one went in right! X
Flyingarcher I got the snakes and went really cold after my biopsy last week… and after reading a few posts on here a few.others did too. X
Yep I’ve got three in left boob. One in the invasive DCIS at the front and two at the back where there were some stray micro calcifications, one of which area was benign papilloma and the other was pre cancer. When I have my mx (long wait until 12 May) I thought I’d ask if I could keep them as souvenirs. Make a charm out of them or something?.
im 6 weeks post biopsy and boob still hurts.
