Had mastectomy Dec 2005 been on tamoxifen since. Last 6 months feeling breathless and left breast feels slightly lumpy. Mammogram in Dec 08 was OK. Have been seen by a Physician who is sending me for an echocardiogram.
It is probably nothing related to breast but history in family with cancer related deaths is both parents had cancer mum breast Dad lung cousin breast . Just want a little reassurance please.

Sorry to hear you are in this awful place of worrying if it is back! Do you still have contact with the breast unit that treated you? I would have thought with your history + family history they should be checking this out for you. Why has your GP not referred you to the breast unit? Can you get back to him and ask for an urgent referral? I don’t think we can give you any reassurance other than to say that we are all here to help you thru this time if you need us.
