I’m just interested to know what an ultra sound can show up in an examination?
I went for my first aged 18 two years ago, I have now been for my second yesterday and was advised it has grown from 15mm to 22mm. The nurse seemed concerned and wanted me to come back for a routine check up, however the doctor on the other hand wasn’t just due to my age.
I want to know how I go about getting a second opinion because I can’t deal with the worry anymore. Especially as the nurse was concerned and the doctor wasn’t due to my age. All they have advised me is to keep an eye on it and if I feel it has changed, go back in six months. But what if it has and if it is something it’s too late then?
I don’t know how I move forward with this and would appreciate any advice. Am I worrying too much?
