Have I got Secondary Breast Cancer?

Hi Dotty,
Have you phoned the helpline? just thought they may help you with your questions, we all have lots of questions when we are first diagnosed, so if no one comes on with a reply perhaps the helpline would be the next bet for you.
They really are very helpful, make a note of your questions.
Another thought, they can also put you in touch with someone with similar diagnosis to you, they did this for me and l found it very helpful.

Hi Dotty,

I can understand how worried you must be feeling. You did actually post 4 days ago asking the same question and I think that says to me just how worried you are that you had forgotten. The link is

breastcancercare.org.uk/forum/have-i-got-secondary-breast-cancer–t26626.html

and you had quite a few replies there. It is really good that the scans came back all clear. A lot of us have spread to the lymph nodes (lymphatic system) on diagnosis and it is normal then for the oncologist to prescribe a strong chemo to give us the best chance of killing the little 'uggers. I was diagnosed 20 years ago, and although I do have secondaries now, that didnt happen until 2002. I hope once you get started on treatment you will begin to feel things are happening to get it all under control.
