Headwear recommendations

Hello all

I’m currently undergoing chemo (6 out of 8 cycles complete). I lost a lot of hair with EC and decided to shave it. I cut it to a grade 1 and it has thinned a lot but also grown slightly to maybe a grade 2 length. I tried a few wigs but didn’t get on with them so have been wearing bobble hats when outside and thin cotton beanie hats indoors since which suits me fine. However I have several events in the next couple of months to attend. They are smart casual events but not super formal. I just don’t know what to wear on my head. I’m not brave enough to go without anything just yet but a bobble hats indoors since is just not going to cut it. I want to look and feel nice but in the nicest possible way I really want to not look or feel like a cancer patient for a few hours. Headscarves, turbans and wraps are lovely but just not my thing - any suggestions or recommendations please? Also any suggestions for what to wear outdoors as the weather hopefully warms up a touch and it becomes too warm to wear a bobble hat?

Have a look at Silk & Lawn. I have some beautiful silk & velvet turbans from them which you may like. Fully understand the feeling & for me these were a good compromise-all I wear day to day is a cashmere beany!

Indira de Paris have some lovely turbans that are so easy to tie. I have had a lot of compliments on mine

I second the Indira headscarf’s. I have a few and get some many compliments, they wash really well, easy to tie & don’t slip off your head.

I have bought some nice hats and caps from Etsy. One comes with a detachable headband and another is a cap with a peak for the sun ( I’m optimistic we’ll see it again ). They’re only £10-15 each.
