hi , hope everyone had a good christmas day . was wondering does anyone who has been on taxotere had heavy legs throughout ? mine are awful got 4th chemo tomorrow of it and thought would feel better but it has me feeling horrid most of the time . was taken off capcititobine couple of weeks ago due to severe hand and foot but start on a lower dose again tomorrow too .
these 2 chemos i find are so hard to tolerate .
i have probably asked similar question on here before , but my memory is terrible !!!

Dear Tracy - Just wanted to wish you luck with your next Chemo. Sorry that you are feeling so uncomfortable with it. Just a thought, but have you tried support tights, sounds funny but they really might give you quite a lot of relief with the feeling of heaviness in your legs. Yes I remember feeling like that…
I spent most of the time trying to keep my legs above my heart as they were swollen as well.
Plenty of pillows!!!
I found it got worse at night but it soon went when I finished treatment.
Don’t be shy with the painkillers and always tell your onc as they might have a trick up their sleeves.

Just asked my wife. Yes she did have heavy legs during Taxotere, plus a sort of fizzing in her pelvis. It slowly went away, hope this helps.
