yep see you all tomorrow looking forward to seeing you all xxJulie
Marli, we are going for 11.30 partly because lulu and cazza have to leave early, but also because you can’t book. But don’t worry if you can’t make it for then, I know Monica is going to be late, so we will just keep you a seat. Dx
Thanks Debs - see you tomorrow. Should be OK as am staying with my daughter at Killingworth and want to shop before meeting. Marli x

HI emma we missed you aswell yesterday. but understand you were going for results today , not the ones you would have liked im sorry it means more surgery and worry for you . Have you got family history of BC aswell im presuming you have with genetic testing cos this is what worries me too .I have 3 aunties all from the same side all with BC and yet they havent offered it to me as they say im a low risk but i do worry for my daughter how did the tests come about for you? big hugs xx Julie
Hi Emma
Just a hug from me-{{{{{{hug}}}}}}}. will send you a message on fb. Debx
Hi Emma
Hope your feeling ok re your results. It will be my turn shortly as I lost my mum to bc 23 years ago. x
Hi Julie/Kim, my aunt died 10 years ago from ovarian Cancer at 37, her bloods were kept and the re-activated again when I was diagnosed with this as we were/are both really young for both cancers (I was 30) hers came back positive, so then they tested me, her daughter and my mum, her daughter is ok, but both me & my mum have the gene.
Julie have you asked to be tested? I know you can go private but I would have through they would have tested you.
I dont know how I’m feeling really, its not the kind of scared you feel when first diagnosed… think I’m in shock!
Got your message, incase you read this first! thanks Deb! xx

Hi Emma. So sorry to hear about your results. What a blow. Life is so unfair sometimes. Sending big hug to you. Do try and make next lunch date coz it will do you good. It was great to meet up with everyone again and to see everyone looking so well - despite what we have been thru. The LGFG thing was brilliant. Really did feel well pampered and the goody bag was amazing! I was having hot flushes all afternoon needed lashings of foundation to tone it down. Took matters into my own hands when I got home and took some Piriteze which has helped. Already looking forward to next meeting. Be kind to yourselves. Luv Cazzax
Hi Emma
You will be shocked honey but will be fine. Did they explain anything to you in regards to having the gene to put your mind at ease.
Big hug kim x
Evening everyone - really enjoyed lunch yesterday, it was so nice to put face to all you helpful ladies. Was soooo… tired today at work. Seems I can only do one physically tiring thing a week and work suffered today!
Emma - sorry to hear your results were not good for you. Please keep in touch. hug, hug.
Cazza and Lulu - lovely to meet you and hope to meet for coffee soon. Hope you are feeling better Cazza. Did your 14 year old like “her” new make-up?
Julie - really nice to have a good chin wag.
Take care everyone. Marli xx
Hello ladies!!!
it’s so nice to be back!
I have been off line since Friday because of a faulty modem (you must have noticed the cat was missing…
I tell you what, I have realized how dependant I am on on the internet. I was tearing my hair out (ok, my wig off… ha ha) because I couldn’t surf, send email, etc. It was really getting me down.
But hey, they have finally fixed the fault so I’m back!!! I could have kissed the Virgin engineer when the internet started working again but then decided it could have been taken the wrong way…
It was really lovely to see you on Monday and great to put a face to the ladies I hadn’t met yet (Julie, Marli, Monica…). Thanks for the compliments about my wig. I love it, me! Mind you Julie’s was fab too! Should have asked Cazza and Deb to bring their unwanted ones so that I could have given them a good home.
The LGFB workshop was really good, as Cazza mentioned. What an amazing selection of products there. I am so chuffed I went. Mind you, I went home looking distinctly tart-ish with all the make up on my face. lol
Deb, what a GORGEOUS bag you were sporting!!! And I SOOOOOO approve of your decision to spoil yourself. Blooming heck. We really should give ourselves plenty of treats after what we are going through.
Emma, so sorry about your results. I have sent message on FB. You are such a sunny, positive person I’m sure it will help you to get through the ordeal. We are all thinking of you.
Really dull and grey out there! But I have my internet back, so who cares eh?
Take care and I DO hope we can get together before Christmas.
