Hi Louby
Glad to hear you are ok and that you are OK with the op dates etc. Will be keeping everything crossed for you and hope that after op in December all is OK with you and you will not have to worry anymore, well not as much anyway, if you get what I mean. Understand you don’t want it done as well, but if means it is safer for you to have the op and more chance of not getting bc then it is the best option and you will be OK.
Glad Claire is getting back to normal now, and hopefully enjoying being back at work. Yeah it has seemed really quiet on here recently, and more so without you and Claire keeping up the banter. I admit I have not been on as much in the evenings as watching tv and had a few ups and downs, and generally tired come evening. But try to come on each day and catch up with people. But thought not heard from you two, so thats why wanted to know you are both ok.
Actually got my 3rd FEC chemo tomorrow at 1.30 - did for afternoon, so can pick Sophie up from school, do both their lunches and then drop Sophie at a friends while Grandad puts Jack to bed!!! After tomorrow my treatment changes to Taxotere on 10 Oct, and have read some bad reports on side effects of this one, but keeping everything crossed I don’t suffer to bad, as been ok on FEC.
Kids doing fine, Sophie back at preschool as of yesterday, 5 mornings a week, 9-11.30, but has cried when say goodbye both days so far, hoping this improves. Her best friend back next week from hols, so might help. Jack is his usual boisterous self and doesn’t stop.
Anyway, enough rambling, you probably wished you never asked. We are all doing ok, and am coping quite well, just get some really down days where I worry about what ifs and how hubby would cope etc. Think if didn’t have liver mets, would be easier for me to deal with, but hey ho, just gotta get on with it.
Anyway, you take care of yourself and let me know time to time how you are doing. Say Hi to Claire too for me.
Lots of Love
Dawn
xx
