Hey Everyone,
Honestly not really sure what I aim to achieve from this post lol. But I felt like I needed to reach out to others going through similar experiences. I am 35 and have 2 young boys 3 and 8.
I found a lump on 21st May, on 17th June told I have Invasive Micropapillary Carcinoma Stage 2 ER + HER2 - and honestly felt like my world crumbled at the thought of not seeing my kids grow up and have kids and instant fear took over. Then suddenly felt guilty that I felt bad when there are people out there far worse off than me!
I have my surgery date set for 17th August to have a Therapeutic Mammoplasty (sure they call it this to sound nicer) unsure if Chemo is needed until the cancer is out and looked at in more detail, then radiotherapy is a definite and hormone treatments for several years.
I keep going through phases of wanting to talk to others going through similar about it and then I’m like, just get on with it and get out the other side. Anyone else going through similar or have been through similar emotions. Probably a hell of a lot more than I think….anyway I have rambled on now.
Thanks for reading, if you made it through ![]()
