been in for my mark up today
some of it has already come off with the ultra sound gel
it is just a big cross
i panicked a bit as consultant said i was to be scanned on the other “area” the mri picked up
thank god she said it was just cysts(lets hope she is right)
so i cant eat or drink after 9am tomorrow and be at hospital for 12 noon.
cant believe this time tomorrow that part will be all over
i went to see where the ward was while i was there today
i got as far as someone coming out of the recovery room on a trolly with a mask on and fled lol
i so wish i hadnt gone up there now

im sure you will be fine. its always worse leading up to the op. i had two ops, lumpectomy and then mastectomy. i too was nervous, but like having a baby its soon forgot. if you get too nervous ask for a pre med, i found that really helped me.
you havnt said what your having done? what ever you have done, youll be sitting up tommorow evening, and it will all be over.

Don’t forget to ask for a pre med to calm you down if you need one. Some places give you it as a matter of course but my hospital didn’t.Don’t worry about the General Anaesthetic…honestly it’s nothing. You fall asleep then you wake up. It feels like no time has passed at all…
Will you have a friend or relative there for you when you come round after the op ?

Are you asking about being sick after your op because you have been sick after anaesthesia before?
If so tell the anaesthetist before your op and they will give you something to stop it.No point being sick if you don’t have to!
