Hello everyone,
The Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC) are assessing whether or not to recommend pertuzumab (Perjeta) to be available on the NHS in Scotland. Pertuzumab is a treatment for HER2 positive breast cancer. Women who live in England, Wales and Northern Ireland can get it on the NHS, but it’s not currently available in Scotland.
We are gathering evidence to tell the SMC what access to pertuzumab would mean and want to hear from: women who have been or are being treated with pertuzumab before surgery in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, or women in Scotland who have HER2 positive breast cancer.
Please help us by completing our short survey: surveymonkey.co.uk/r/pertuzumab_smc
We are looking for responses by Tuesday 18 September.
If you have any questions about our work in this area, please email campaigns@breastcancercare.org.uk.
Thank you,
Olivia
