Just reading ahead really. I got my results from my WLE and sentitel node biopsy yesterday. They want to do a mastectomy and node clearance. What is the difference in having recon at the surgery stage or after all the chemo etc. In auto at the time and just thought get this out now. They found a 5.5cm tumour and it’s grade 2 with DCIS cells too if that makes any difference.
Also is the op any different if you say you will have recon at a later stage, ie do they save any bits?
It’s nearly 4 in the morning, as you can see it’s keeping me awake!
