@arty1 so sorry to hear you are juggling so many things and that your daughter is struggling. On top of that a lump to be investigated. I will send you as many positive vibes as I can conjure and hope it helps.
Congratulations on the baby granddaughter, she has a glamorous granny/nan/nanny.
let us know what happens after the 6 May. August will be with us sooner than you think. I hope the move isn’t too stressful.
@alpacagirl Welcome to the thread. I also had delays due to infection and hospital stay, and adjusted doses several times during chemo and was told it wouldn’t affect the overall outcome. They give everyone the same dose and try to minimise side effects with adjustments. One professor said they would hope in the future to be able to give the exact dose per person to not get side effects and therefore limited impact on life during treatment. But we aren’t there yet.
@fam I would chase them up if you thought you would be having it soon, even if it’s just to get an idea of dates so you can plan ahead.
@salbert thinking of you and your mum with dad in hospital. Love the hat! Very apt for hospital when they won’t leave you alone! Hope he has settled ok.
@carrie5 wonder woman at it again, another caving expedition. You are amazing. Love bats. When my Dad died, I was called at 5am and I sat on the back step. It was so dark and quiet and then I heard bats flying over head. I had never experienced this and in my own back garden. We have mature trees and heard about the bats as some people are made to jump through hoops for any two storey extension and accommodate them. Up until then I’d never experienced, suffice to say I’m not up early enough to experience them again. ![]()
