@docb I am so sorry to read your post, after doing your very best for yourself don’t deserve this. I can’t imagine what you’re going through, wish I had a more positive reply feel sure someone will be in the same position as you will offer some advise, also the breast cancer nurses on this site are so kind and helpful, don’t hesitate to contact them.

I’m so sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I had a very similar regime to you for my primary in 2023. I had two tumours, one in each naughty boob and own health conditions with family history. HER2+ ER+ 20mm and ER+ 0.9mm. I was given a good prognosis and jus5 recently had another mammogram ‘with no areas of concern’. Like most of us without lymph node involvement I haven’t had a scan on the rest of my body and it’s always a concern about spread. Cancer can spread within the blood but still no other checks. I have ongoing issues that I’ve been told are most likely the aromatase inhibitors, first Letrozole and now Exemestane.
I have been on a thread called HER2 and need some buddies, which is predominantly primary diagnosis but many of who have had Docetaxel and a Phesgo.

Hi @docb so sorry for your news, I’m sure that was a huge shock so soon after your primary treatment.
I’m currently undergoing the Docetaxel, Carboplatin and Phesgo regime. I’ve been ok with symptoms so far. I normally feel ok for the first couple of days then start to feel tired and a little woozy around day 3. I’ve also had some issues with my skin (acne type rash) and mouth ulcers but my team gave me stuff after the first round which keeps it at bay. My taste is normally a bit rubbish the first week too but by week 2 I find I’m much better and by week 3 back to normal. Overall I’d say for me it’s been very manageable. No nausea or sickness which was my main concern. I started a thread on this regime a few weeks ago. Some ladies have shared their experiences too so I’ll pop the link here. Hi. I’m really sorry to hear this is happening to you. I had epirubicin and cyclophosimide. Docetaxel and phesgo. Surgery on a 12cm mass and 13 axillary lymph nodes removed. 15 cycles of radiotherapy and started kadcyla. After 7 cycles of kadcyla i couldn’t tolerate it anymore and had 8 cycles of phesgo. Finished treatment on 23 January this year. Returned to work in March. And have now got it in my neck. Waiting for scans now to see what happens next.
