Herceptin Availablitiy
Herceptin Availablitiy I know I’ve asked this before but…
Has anyone who is being funded by a PCT got anything in writing regarding exactly what their PCT regards as exceptional (or even appropriate) clinical need to receive Herceptin?? (any factors - grade, size, nodes, age, personal circumstances…)
I’ve been searching websites of PCTs I know of that are funding it. I’ve only come across one (thanks Daphne!) in Norfolk that actually specifies the minimum size of cancer which needs to be present.
Appeal to PCT imminent - trying to get them to define the “exceptional clinical need” they say I don’t have. Don’t think I will be sucessful but I’m not going to make life easy for them.
