My thigh was bruised last time too but not the first time. Injection was less painful though!
Mmm it does sting a bit at times ! I have to do a bit of deep breathing!! I had my first 3 alongside the chemo as injections too. Xx
Having the injections has been fine for me so far. A slight sting but not bad. No bruise on thigh either. Lets hope this continues xx
Last few days have noticed really stiff aching joints when I stand up, just when I was feeling better! Think it’s a herceptin side effect… anyone else had the same ? X
I have a stiff achey lower back and legs Jelly tot. The legs dont ache but they are stiff! Had 5 herceptin now. 3 with chemo and 2 injections xx
My hips get stiff when I sit for long periods but I’m walking about 12,000 steps a day at the moment so that could be it or the anastrazole
Hi Chafginch how are you getting on with Herceptin? I have my 9th next week. Because i am taking Letrozole too i dont onow which drug is to blame for which side effect! Xx
Hi Ali, nice to hear from you. Sorry it’s taken me a while to reply. I haven’t been on the forum for a couple of weeks. Busy with kitchen renovation. Nice to be doing normal things ?.
I’ve had 6 treatments now, 7th will be a week today. Struggled after 5th had uti and felt under the weather for whole 3 weeks but I’ve been ok this time. I do ache but like you I don’t know if it’s the anastrazole or the Herceptin ?
Hi Chaffinch. I delayed my herceptin for half yerm as we were away and i noticed my legs ached less of a night and i was less tired but i didnt connect it to not having my injection. Anyway apart from knackered knees and achy shoulders i am feeling more like me - i think!! Hope your kit hen is lovely xx
