Hi everyone
I started herceptin injections in November last year. I have been taken off the treatment twice now as it caused me to have a reduced heart function. I am often breathless and tired so am unable to carry out the smallest task around my home without feeling short of breath.
Are any of you experiencing this and if so what is your oncologist advising you? I am seriously considering not continuing with the treatment but don’t yet know the risks if I stop

I am in a later thread but found your post about heart damage. How are you going now and did they offer any alternative therapy?
I have had 6 cycles of Herceptin after 4 AC and 8 of paclitaxel pre surgery and the last echo picked up a 9% drop in LVEF though still within normal limits. I am pausing treatment for two months which seems a long time.
