Well ladies,

Dx in March 2006, had surgery, chemo and rads - had my second mammo last month and it came back clear. I went to GP’s this morning because I felf what I thought was my breast bone in my surgery breast and just wanted a bit of reassurance - and to my surprise its another lump and I have an emergency appointment with my consultant tomorrow morning.
To say I’m shocked is an understatement but thank god only have to wait until tomorrow.

Please keep your fingers crossed for me.

appointment is at 0830 so not to long to wait. Think I will go to my friends and have a glass or two of wine in her hot tub tonight.

What a relief, Angie, I am sure we all live with the dread of a recurrence.

more good news - my genetic results came through this morning and I don’t have either brca1 or brca 2 gene mutation so the celerations will continue.

I honestly feel that my journey with cancer is finally ending after 2.5 years. It has been a long one with some very hard bits along the way and with the support of my family and all the wonderful ladies on this site I have got through it - must say feel quite emotional - but am on such a high.
