HI all

hello to all, haven’t been on recently as my internet has been down, and at the moment I am using a friends PC.

Just wanted to say hi, hope Theresa is doing ok, Andie how is your seroma now and Jackie what is your news?

I am off for a lung scan next week, still coughing so they decided its time to investigate. Hopefully it will show absolutely nothing, but once again worries.

Take care

Carole xx

Back to the top please. Hope your scan goes OK

Carole - hope all goes well with the lung scan {{{hugs}}} as you say everything causes such worries now…:frowning:

I am fine - the scar etc is still hurting - but it is very early days after the op…

Hi

Since starting the treatment for “reflux” I must say that the cough is definitely better, so I am hoping upon hope that its nothing.

Glad to hear you are doing well Theresa, like you say it is early days. How is the lymphoedema?

Hi Carole,

I’m doing fine, thank you. No news re surgeon appt as yet. Went for a MUGA scan at the Brompton this morning, should have been herceptin day but Marsden realised it’s been more than 6 months since my last haert scan! Back up again Monday for herceptin provided results are good.

Just want to wish you all the best for your own scan later this week.

Take Care

Hi Carole

Just back from a really lazy holiday -you may have thought I was ignoring you.

The sermoa is still there, the surgeon thinks it will go away on its own and does not want to see me until end of November. The onc thinks it will stay put but solidify. I am cheesed off with being in the middle ,very uncomfortable and trying to manage this on my own. Because it extends into the area under my arm the instruction I was given to wear a bra or supportive top is proving difficult and the BCN can offer no suggestion or solution. I have asked for and been given a referal to the Lymphodema clinic for an assesment because I still think there is a degree of Lymphodema involved. The appointment is at the beginning of November which seems ages away
but will come round reasonably quickly. I have just had to wait 6 weeks for the results of a bone scan because of pains in my arm which I get next wednesday. This whole BC situation continues to be wait after wait for all sorts of things.

Hope you are all OK

Andie

Thanks for

Hi Andie

Quick suggestion/thought/idea:

Have you tried a camisole?

There is a related thread on the lymphoedema board, which I’ll try to bump for you now…
