Hi, I was diagnosed in July 2019, had mastectomy and radio and Tamoxifen in October, 3 weeks after radio finished I had a massive blood clot on my lungs which nearly killed me and they took me off Tamoxifen. I had a lot of other stuff going on in my life at the same time and I just swept my cancer under the carpet and it had a terrible impact on my mental health. I never spoke to anybody about any of it and have recently written a book to get it all out of my head. I have found it helpful now to join some forums, I didn’t want to when I was first diagnosed but really wish I had.
