Dear friends,
I am finishing up 5 years of Tamoxifen and Letrozole this month. I have been struggling with symptoms of low estrogen terribly. I have horrendous vaginal atrophy with Vulvar Linchen sclerosis. Now I am experiencing a heavy rectal pressure as if I need to potty but can’t. I have no blood or hemmoriods that I can see. I will have a day or two per week that of feels “normal” but then it goes right back to that heavy feeling. I can only assume it’s the 5 years of hormone blockers ravaging my body. I’m finding it hard to get through the day. Is anyone else experiencing thish strange feeling. I will go back in to doctor Wednesday for follow up.
Lynn
Sorry to hear this. I suffered vaginal atrophy before cancer diagnosis. Avoidance is now happening.
Dr Liz O’Riordan talked about this study showing low mortality rate using vaginal estrogen with breast cancer diagnosis. Worth talking to doctor about.
