I had my op in September, I was told I would then be checked every 3 months.
My review appointment with my surgeon has been cancelled twice from 31 March … now 21 July. I was really upset when it was cancelled again as I have a few questions that have finally percolated through the emotional stuff.
I understand that I was a low risk for recurrence , caught early , oestrogen positive , but cant remember about the low risk bit. I also cannot determine which of the post surgery lumps are normal, and following the flu have a very tender breast …GP is only interested in manhandling his computer!!!
Any ideas… you feel that you dont want to moan … because they were so prompt first time round… and i should be grateful etc. Do I need to be seen every 3 months anyway.

I would not let the hospital make me wait like that, its just stupid. my advice would be to phone your breast care nurse up!!!
Yes Annie
I think you need to get on the phone and push for an earlier date. It is not acceptable to make you wait that long. Call breast care nurse or phone the onc’s secretary and ask for a cancellation, I would.
Good luck
