If you are talking about for hot flushes and anxiety I think it’s worth a try if you can tolerate it. I was prescribed it for neuropathic pain but it didn’t work for me ,as I’ve cut down the dose I’ve found my hot flushes have got steadily worse and when researched it I found it can prescribed for hot flushes .
I found a weighted blanket hugely helpful for nightly hot flushes as long as the room is cold, along with wetting a washcloth with freezing water and putting it on my chest or eyes…

Suffer terrible from night sweats and day flushes.
Not much i can do about day ones. But i bought silk pillowcases and a silk sheet from amazon, not cheep! But what a difference, dying to buy more and a matching duvet set is about £48.00 but worth every penny xx
