How long after rads will Herceptin therapy start?

Does anyone know how soon they wil lstart me on Herceptin after rads? After last chemo I managed to have a week’s holiday and then rads started as soon as I returned. One lot of treatment starts and then another begins very quickly. I can now almost sleepwalk my way to hospital. I have had 5 sessions of rads with 20 more to follow, thank goodness I am not too far from the hospital and my husband can drop me off and pick me up afterwards. Thankfully the wait is not too long, unlike the hours waiting for chemo. I wonder if it will be the sam, hours in hospital for Herceptin?

Any info gratefully received.

I had chemo, earlier in year op in April and finiished rads 3 weeks ago.My herceptin started a week before my op.You wiil find that we are treated differently

Hi,
I had herceptin weekly with chemo for 3 months… was stopped for surgery and then recommenced about 2 weeks before my rads, have had 12 sessions (rads)…only 3 to go!!!
Will be on Herceptin 3 weekly until March 09.

I have learnt also they dont give Herceptin and rads if it is the left side having rads, but as mine is the right it was ok to start.
