How long from end of chemo to start of radio???

Hi

Are any of you very helpful ladies able to tell me what the normal time is from the end of chemo to the start of radio???

Mum lives in Spain and is due to have last chemo on 25th February.

My onc wanted it to be 3wks after last chemo, but I asked for another week as I was having to stay away from home for rads and had horrid time on taxotere, which he agreed to, and it was a breeze compared to chemo for me too.

Hi All

Thanks for that info…Mum has a bit of a cold at the moment. How likely is it that she will not be able to have her chemo tomorrow???

Hi Sam,
If she hasnt got a temperature she might be OK - do they do the pre-chemo blood tests on the day or did they do them today? they would pick up on any problems.

I was 4 weeks between chemo and radio too.

I was 4 weeks between,was going to be three but had neutropenia after last taxotere so was deferred.

I finsihed chemo last wednesday and have been told marking date of 5th february. they will let me know start date then.
