Have seen posts about hair coming back after chemo finished and that we get fine white hair growth on our face for a while after. Several comments along the line that we shouldn’t use any hair removal products and that it falls out after a while but can anyone let me know when to expect this to grow and how long before it disappears. Had last chemo a week ago and about to start rads and tamoxifen in 2 weeks and looking at going back to work in the new year but if the hair falls out quickly then would rather put off return to work until after this has happened.
Hi Alicats, this is true, I had like a feathery down all over my face, I was so tempted to cream or even shave it off, but advice from everyone was don’t do it.
My hair started to grow back around 5 weeks after chemo had finished, I finished in August, facial hair now gone, eye brows, leg hair, below hair, all back growing fiercely !!! My head however was growing back okay although white, grey, seems to have stopped in the past few weeks at around half an inch in length… Not sure why this is!
