How to deal with hair loss after cancer therapy?

I know it’s suffering to have breast cancer, but I did not give up and tried my best to fight against it. I accepted therapy and things got better and better. I am almost recovered from the suffer. But my hair started to fall off ever since the therapy began. Is there anything I can do to get my hair grow?

Hi JuliaMonica,

Thank you for posting on our Forum, hopefully one of our members will be along soon to offer their advice. In the meantime you may like to take a look at our information page.

All the best,

Do you mean it’s began falling out during chemo? Or it began to fall out once all your treatment was complete?

I haven’t tried it but I’ve read that scalp massage is helpful and coconut oil stimulates regrow. Love xxx

Hi, I didn’t do anything to help my hair grow any faster but I did take lots of pictures and few video’s so I could see how I changed through my cancer journey, if you feel like it i’ve just posted it on You Tube as a timeline, it might help you come to terms with the regrowth process and understand how long it takes, hope it helps, search Beverley Griffiths Chemo Hair Journey, I know I used to look to see other peoples x
