Recently, I watched a video and got to know that women with childbirth after the age of 30 have higher chances of being affected by breast cancer.
I gave birth to my only beautiful daughter when I was 32. Right now, I am 41 years old. Does it really increases my risks? No one in my family has ever had cancer.
Sorry for bothering. My wishes and prayers go for all women in this group.
I wouldn’t worry about the risk being increased. The biggest risk for bc is simply just getting older & if on the off chance, you did get a bc diagnosis, there’s no way of telling whether having your daughter after 30 was significant or not.
The stats are general, not specific & only identify possible trends & are not a prediction of whether we’ll get a bc diagnosis or not.
I understand that statistically, 1 in 8 women get a bc diagnosis, but the vast majority are older at diagnosis.
