I am sure the lump has grown.

Hey ladies!

On monday i saw my g.p about the lump in my left breast. She felt it and said it was only tiny, asked me when my period was due (which is around the 4th of may), then said give it two weeks and come back if its still there.

I have tried to put it to the back of my mind and have only had a little feel every day to check if its still there. Only today the lump feels bigger, it was really small about the size of a small raisin but now it feel slightly larger. Its is more of an oval shape than round and it is attached to my breast tissue on one side. It doesn’t hurt but the areas close by feel thicker than they were.

I don’t know whether i should go back to dr’s and tell her i am not happy. or i should just wait as she said it would make no difference even if it was cancer which she thinks is unlikely , but you never know!

i just feel confused!!!

If you are worried and it has got bigger then go back and tell her.It will put your mind at rest.It may be nothing, but mine grew really quickly and was told I had done the right thing in catching it early.It does make a difference to you so get it looked at

yeah i think i am going to have to go back as my breast feels different compared to the other one.

Also i wondered…my dads mum had breast cancer would that be still in my genes??

Tell your gp your history and concerns- as I say probably nothing to worry about but it will ease your mind
